The Arts & Design District along Main Street and Range Line Road lights its gallery blocks for the season, and homeowners follow suit, especially in HOA-tended subdivisions like Village of WestClay where streetscape polish is a point of pride. Practical local notes: most roofs here are dimensional asphalt shingle on steep, multi-ridge newer builds, so installers generally rely on non-penetrating shingle and gutter clips rather than fasteners; because young subdivisions lack big canopy trees, displays lean on rooflines, window surrounds, and landscape beds. Getting a trailer through Carmel's famous roundabout network — more than 140 of them — is its own local skill. Across the industry, quality crews' calendars typically fill by late October, and permanent track-style lighting is an increasingly common request on new custom builds.
