The terms, in plain English.

When you submit a quote request, you agree to provide accurate information and confirm you are the homeowner or are authorized to request work for the property. We route your request to one installer covering your town and roof type. Any agreement for the actual work — scope, price, schedule, and warranty — is between you and that installer, not Curbstead.

We screen installers for the things that matter (insurance, roof experience, lease and takedown terms), but installers are independent businesses. We do not guarantee a specific price, availability, or outcome, and we are not a party to the contract you sign with an installer.

Installers who apply to the partner program agree to the details set out during onboarding, including the exclusive-territory model and the per-lead terms provided before any commitment. Applying does not by itself create a partnership; territories are confirmed in writing. Installers are responsible for their own licensing, insurance, work quality, and their agreements with homeowners.

Do not submit false or fraudulent requests, use the site to send spam, attempt to access the administrative area or other accounts, or interfere with the operation of the service. We use automated screening and rate limiting and may decline or remove submissions that appear abusive.

The service is provided on an “as is” basis. To the extent permitted by law, Curbstead is not liable for the acts, omissions, work, or agreements of the independent installers you are matched with, or for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the site. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
