What exclusive actually means
One active paying contractor per territory
A territory has one Curbstead partner at a time. While that subscription is active and paid, eligible inquiries from those towns route to them and nobody else.
Exclusivity covers routing we control
It means Curbstead will not send your territory's eligible inquiries to another active partner. It does not stop a homeowner searching and calling anyone they like — no platform can promise that, and we won't pretend to.
Payment is what makes it exclusive
Approval reserves a territory; it does not activate it. The territory becomes exclusive only when Stripe confirms payment, and our system will not mark it exclusive any other way.
Volume is not part of the deal
We do not promise a number of inquiries or any booked work. Availability means a town is unclaimed — not that it already produces leads.
Stopping is straightforward
Cancel by emailing hello@curbstead.com — we process it and confirm in writing. Exclusivity ends when the subscription does. If a payment fails, routing pauses until it is resolved rather than quietly continuing.
Enforced by the system, not a promise
Our database allows one approved claim and one live subscription per territory, and stores exactly one installer per lead — a second assignment is rejected outright. Exclusivity is a constraint, not a policy we ask you to trust.
What we don’t promise
- Lead volume is not guaranteed.
- Booked jobs are not guaranteed.
- Return on investment is not guaranteed.
- Not every territory is producing today.
